The Luisa Baars Service Above Self Volunteer Award recognizes Rochester area Latino/as that dedicate their lives to serving others. These are people that take initiative serving others and expect neither repayment nor recognition. They tend to work behind the scenes. The Making A Difference Award recognizes Rochester area Latino/as that have demonstrated through their volunteer work, a commitment to improving the lives of others in need. The RLRC is a volunteer community service organization seeking to embrace the talent of professional and business Latinos and others who are interested in enriching the lives of local and world Latino communities.
